Tips & Tricks By Ginger: Black Circles Under Your Eyes

Ever wake up in the morning, with those horrible black circles under your eyes? Pretty sure we all have had atleast one of those days. But how do we get rid of them before we have to apply a good amount of concealer for our face to appear “normal”? Here are some tips & tricks I recommend for those darkened circles.

Tip #1 IDENTIFY ALLERGIES

This can be the most common cause of under eye darkness. Check with your doctor to find any allergies you didn't know you had, so they can be treated properly.

Tip#2 AVOID RUBBING YOUR EYES

This causes irritation to the skin and can break tiny capillaries beneath the skin causing the black circle.

Tip #3 GET PLENTY OF REST

We know it's hard with the busy lives we lead now-a-days, but you should be shooting for atleat 8 hours of sleep.

Tip#4 WEAR SUNGLASSES

Wear sunglasses when you are outside to protect your eyes from the sun's harmful rays.- This will prevent any sunburn or damage that the sun could cause.

Trick #1 APPLY COOL CLOTH TO EYES

When you are going to sleep, wet a washcloth with a small amount of cool water and lay over your eyes while you are sleeping.

Trick #2 APPLY COOL TEA BAGS TO EYES IN THE MORNING

The tannin in teadbages reduces swelling and discoloration. Put the teabags over your eyes, while laying down in the morning for about 10-15 minutes. Be sure to refrigerate damp caffeinated tea bags overnight.

Trick #3 USE MASSAGE TECHNIQUE WHEN APPLYING EYE TREATMENTS

Take 3 fingers and start from the inner corner. Use a light pressing/release action while working towards the outer corner of the eye. When you get to the temple hold for a minimum of 10 seconds. This allows the capillaries to decompress and flushes fluids. Also the heat from your fingers allows the product to be absorbed into the skin easier.

If you have tried these tips & tricks before and nothing is working, try our Ultrox, which not only reduces under eye darkness, but prevents fine lines as well. You can also try one of our Hyaluronic Moisturizers, just make sure to use the massage technique to really help boost results.

Hyperpigmentation Solutions

Hyperpigmentation is one of the biggest skin concerns but there are some great solutions to this common problem.

Natural Skin Shop has many peels to choose from, all of them help with hyperpigmentation.  However, the brightening peels (AHA Kojic) are great because they contain a combination of Alpha Hydroxy Glycolic, Lactic and Pyruvic Acids together with Kojic acid, Bearberry and Licorice extracts to inhibit skin discoloration and melanin production and slow the darkening of the cells.

There are also two very important accessory products to boost the results of these peels, Max Strength Alpha Arbutin Serum and Skin Lighten Activator. Both contain the hydroquinone alternative alpha arbutin, which will keep your new healthy skin light and bright following the peels.

Natural Skin Lightening. Better Looking Skin without the dangers of Hydroquinone

Natural Skin Lightening. Better Looking Skin without the dangers of Hydroquinone

Everyone knows that bleach can ruin your favorite clothes but bleach *alternatives* can be used to brighten and revive any color in your wardrobe. Now think about how that would apply to your skin.

Nobody likes to have uneven, discolored skin but that doesn’t mean you should risk your health by using harsh skin bleaching products that may work short term, but cause problems down the road, such as rebound hyper-pigmentation (discoloration coming back worse that what it was originally).

So why not look for a natural alternative to "skin bleach" like the ones found at Natural Skin Shop. Their safe, natural skin lightening alternatives are effective and medically proven to work.

Inside the kit you’ll find:
  1. Cleanser - Brightening Cleanser with Lactic Acid & Vitamin C
  2. Peel - Brightening AHA 50% or 30% Kojic Peel
  3. Exfoliator - Brightening AHA 10% Kojic Daily Exfoliator
  4. Treatment - Alpha Arbutin Serum
  5. Moisturizer & Protection - Green Tea SPF30+ Moisturizer
And each of the above improves the texture and tone of your complexion for brighter, better looking skin. Lighter skin.
